Teacher Tuesday: Annual AP Conference

July 9-13, 2014, passports staff from the Curriculum and Sales departments went on the road when we attended the annual AP Conference, held this year at the Philadelphia Convention Center. A gathering place for teachers, administrators and others from around the country who are associated with the College Board’s Advanced Placement program, the annual convention this year had over 4000 attendees.

It was great meeting teachers from all kinds of schools and across different disciplines. We spent the conference talking about student travel, our free academic lesson plans and why passports is the right choice for educators looking for superior value and service. We met a lot of new friends and had the opportunity to reconnect with people we hadn’t seen in a while as well. Overall, it was a great conference (eating cheese steaks in Philly was a treat too).

Next year’s AP annual conference is in Austin, TX (one of the best beef BBQ cities in the country). We’ll see you there! Also, look for us at different regional conferences and workshops around the country.
