'Waterways and Mountaintops' is a tour full of delightful surprises. It was eminently well prepared by Shawn and Dale, to the last detail. All my questions and wishes were answered. Especially the visit to the Louvre-Lens, this modern new museum in Northern France, housing an amazing collection of artifacts, across 2000 years and a Rubens' exhibit. Thank you for permitting us to stop there. Myriam was a wonderful courier whose humor, energy, keen eye and organization helped us on a daily basis. She was an absolutely indispensable person. Belgium France and Switzerland in 8 days. What an adventure! One thousand 'merci beaucoups' to Passports, Shawn, Dale and Myriam: your organization is tops! Great hotels, superb food including specialties. We will never forget the variety of Belgian medieval architecture and the canals of Bruges, the chateau de Versailles and its gardens, the Alps and paddle-boating on Lake Geneva. 'Vive l'aventure!' I'm very pleased with all aspects of the trip planning and support. When in Italy, I found we had royal treatment as far as the hotels, meals, local guides, the flight. The two schools with which we traveled were very friendly, all got along well students as well as adults. It took half an hour for the groups to say goodbye at the airport. They're keeping in touch via e-mails and can't wait for the next trip. We all agreed that Paola is the best guide par excellence. The students adored her and listened to her.

Kudos to Passports for scrambling to arrange our trip to Ecuador on the spur of the moment due to the State Department travelers' warning about traveling in the Machu Picchu area. Kris and Dale saved the day. The trip to Ecuador was fantastic. The guide/courier may be the best we had on 6 Passports trips we've taken so far. The food was also excellent at every stop.

Passports picked great restaurants and hotels. Paola made it all run perfectly. Simply put, it was a great tour that exceeded my expectations.

Our dinner at Restaurant 58 on the Eiffel Tower is a memory we will never forget, especially for two of our students celebrating their birthdays!

Myriam knew the owner. The Algerian couscous was heavenly. A discovery for most of my students. They loved it!

A dream: pâté de canard, lamb and linguini with truffles, a chocolate mousse cake with gold filigree and a happy birthday celebration for two of my students- what an elegant evening!

Breakfast was abounding with fresh fruits, choices of coffees, and fresh baked pastries.

Breakfast was a great buffet. It had some non-German food to accomodate those with picky pallets, but it also had traditional German breakfast foods. The breads, meats and cheeses were great.

This is the best meal I have had in a long time. It was superb. Everything about this meal screamed wonderful. The soup was delicious. The meat was tender and the vegetables were cooked and spiced to perfection. The dessert was the best out of all of the restaurants. I cannot say enough about how amazing this meal was.

Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse is a beautiful hotel. Especially love the rooftop terrace view of the Eiffel Tower. Like staying in this part of Paris. Students love the crepe vendor just down the street -- the man that makes crepes there said he even remembered my son and I from our previous trip and stay at this lovely hotel.

I thought the location of the Hotel Aberdeen in Rome was super convenient, the staff was fantastic, and the food was good at breakfast. I don't know the one lady's name at the front desk in the morning, but she was super nice and helpful. So great!

The Ristorante al Passatore in Venice on the Lido is always one of the kids' favorites. Staff is accommodating, portions are generous, special needs (gluten-free and vegetarian) were taken care of.

Ristorante all'Angoletto Romano in Rome was hands down the best meal of the trip. The family that runs the restaurant is just fabulous and accommodating and friendly.... and the food was sooooooooo good! I could eat there every day!

Hotel Lancelot Rome: BEST HOTEL!!! I have ever stayed in while with students in Rome!!! Rooms clean, facility safe, staff went out of their way for us. This is an "OMG" hotel!!! The staff were so awesome and so kind. They went out of their way to provide a nice breakfast on departure day. I have never met a nicer, more attentive staff in Rome... where did you find these people? Clone them!

There are a lot of details in planning and trip, and everything (and I do mean everything) went very well. All transportation connections were met. All lodging accommodations were ready for us. Every meal, excursion and event were ready when we got there. This doesn't just happen. It takes a dedicated team of professionals working together to plan, organize and execute each item with precision and purpose. On behalf of our entire group... THANK YOU!

Each time it gets better and better. You have always made it easy in terms of transportation, contact, needs, etc. We appreciated restaurants that did not just cater to American teen tastes, but actually served authentic dishes. Vegetarian dishes were also good. Not just potatoes and carrots!

The Tower Hotel, London: Wonderful hotel - extremely modern, wonderful facilities (including breakfast), and the location cannot be beat! We would gladly stay at this hotel in the future. Our rooms were even ready when we arrived... what a wonderful surprise after a long travel day! Also, the staff were exceptional.

My experience home and abroad in dealing with Passports, and all of those associated with the company, was fabulous. We loved the Abba Queen Gate hotel, both for its location and the amenities. The trip was really flawless. Everything ran smoothly; we had a perfect balance of sightseeing and free time. The extra special perk was the honor of having Kate as our Tour Guide. She was absolute 'perfection.' We hope to travel with her again!

I'm extremely grateful and blessed with the experience that was afforded me. It was a trip of a lifetime. Overall, I was extremely pleased with Passports and its representatives. Also, it was nice to meet Kevin and Mike. They were both very cordial and engaging.

I am so happy with the kids coming back and their faces lighting up. I was impressed with Michael stopping in to check on things as well as Dale always being available for questions. I can always count on Kathy as well. I am so happy with Sara and Vivi, they worked very hard to keep up with me and the time difference. Couldn't be happier!

The kids just adored Pablo. He really went above and beyond to make this a memorable trip for all. Our chauffeur, Wilber, also showed tremendous care and support of our group. The kids loved him, as well. I would consider travel again to Costa Rica if I were assured that we would again have Pablo and Wilber as our guide and chauffeur.

Passports picked great restaurants and hotels. Paola made it all run perfectly. Simply put, it was a great tour that exceeded my expectations.

Passports has been my choice for a number of years and I have yet to be disappointed. Hotels, meals, travel, courier- all well done.

Overall travel experience was great. The trip was exceptionally organized as all Passports trips have been. Kathy was great to accommodate all special requests before departure to fill 'free' time or include special things. We experienced no unnecessary waiting or waste of time at any hotel, restaurant, tourist attraction, etc. which is exceptional with a group this large that attended so many places. I especially appreciated our group having our own bus and courier. That made this trip SO much more enjoyable. Anne-Claire was great as always.

Tom is amazing. He is wonderful to travel with. He has a fantastic rapport with all the travelers and is always re-evaluating the plans to make sure it is optimal for the group. He has an uncanny sense of direction! Great asset to Passports!

We were very pleased with our tour. In particular, our tour guide, Vivi, went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could possibly be. No task was too much of a challenge. She was able to provide two birthday cakes in order for us to celebrate student birthdays! Plus, an additional side-trip to allow us to experience churros.

This was a wonderful trip and much of that was due to the courier. The itinerary was varied and the students were kept so busy and engaged in the many experiences that there was no trouble, no drama- just good fun and a lot of learning. The hotels were comfortable, air conditioned, and had wifi (big thing now) as well as good locations.

Waterways and Mountaintops' was a wonderful tour, fast paced and loaded with great surprises. Discovering 3 European countries with a group of teenagers kept us on our toes! Myriam our courier was the consummate guide, ever vigilant, taking us through the diverse subtleties of each culture and history.

A wonderful experience! Most days were effortlessly executed. Sacha handled everything. The travel arrangements were great. Parents and students all agreed that the trip was fantastic. Many are waiting for the details for our next trip. Thank you!!!

I definitely enjoyed this trip. We had a wonderful group of people and an excellent courier. All the city guides were excellent, as well as the bus drivers. I hope to travel with Passports again.

Gearoid is an excellent courier! He was able to arrange separate experiences for different groups and got us all around London and the countryside without fail. He took care of any problems with hotels such as room assignments and menus. He worked well with the driver and with me. I really appreciated his service. He was extremely professional with the students and the parents. I would recommend him for future trips for groups. He has a knack for putting people at ease and is flexible with the group's desires.

Vivi added a lot to our trip with her kindness, approachability and friendliness. We had customized our trip and everything was done to perfection. Daniel, our driver, was very kind and helpful, even when we asked for a little detour here and there.

Everywhere we went, Myriam knew somebody. She made us feel at home! We sang songs from the Sound of Music in French before returning to our comfortable, air-conditioned luxury coach. We are now frantically sharing pictures with each other so that we do not forget our wonderfully unique Passports trip.

Myriam can do anything!

Myriam is a native French courier who puts her heart and energy in meticulously preparing every activity. She kept our students interested and involved in the discovery of another culture. She is very knowledgeable about the history and customs of France. It was a pleasure to listen to her comments about specific neighborhoods in Paris. She was ever vigilant and did not hesitate to teach our teen participants to be more aware of the world around them. It was lovely to see students and chaperones hugging her to thank her as she took us to our departure flight in Genève.

As a tour leader, seating in the front of the bus, while in transit from one country to the next, it was a pleasure to talk with Myriam and share many cultural observations with her. It would absolutely be a privilege to take another Passports tour with Myriam should she be free to do so.

Myriam knew the owner. The Algerian couscous was heavenly. A discovery for most of my students. They loved it!

Sonia is extremely knowledgeable about Paris and its history. A pleasure to listen to.

Our guide at Chillon Castle had a clear voice, and many anecdotes explaining this thousand year old castle.

Sacha was one of the main reasons we all were so happy with this traveling experience!

Sacha pulled together our best meal in a short amount of time when we were in Cumae. He was our 'everything' on this trip.

All of our guides were great. When we felt a bit rushed through our visits to various sites, I spoke with Myriam about our concerns, and she worked with each guide to adjust the pace!

All went well thanks to having Myriam working on our behalf. Her relationships with the people we encountered helped to resolve any and all challenges. Everyone loved our hotels and everything we were able to enjoy from free time to organized activity- we had a memorable experience!

Rachel was wonderful. She made our trip great, even with some difficulties outside her control, such as a bus breaking down, the Eiffel tower strike and a VERY difficult, unyielding and negative teacher in our group. She handled everything quickly, professionally and cheerfully, trying to accommodate everyone's needs - not just the squeaky wheels! And Tony was also wonderful, handling our breakdown really well.

Jane was very good. She was very interesting!

Rachel made the trip for us, as usual. It was a nice tour with some fun and different activities. The Plou et fils tour was a highlight. Our stay in Tours was also really nice. Loved St. Malo. Tony did a great job as our driver. Again, considering some of the very difficult people in our extended group, the whole trip went really smoothly!

Gearoid was flexible and added some elements when requested. He had a great personality also.

Gearoid was very professional; well-organized; great personality. He took very good care of us.

I cannot say enough about Sacha. He was the best tour manager that I ever had. He is a born teacher so the bus trip was a classroom that was so engaging. He is organized, on top of everything and marvelous with the students. He put in very long days and made every detail smooth and uncomplicated. In the future, Sacha is my measuring stick for outstanding couriers.

I had siblings of former travelers on this tour who had been told they needed to 'get Gianni in Pompeii,' so they were excited to be able to make that connection. As always, Gianni was EXTREMELY relatable to the students and their interests.

Joelle was delightful.... talked non-stop which was great for us... don't know how she did it! She is a wealth of information and not only presented things in a clear, understandable way, but gave us a picture of history, culture and current life in Paris. Her knowledge of the history of the Bourbon period is extensive, so her description of not only the structure, but life at Versailles was fascinating. She was amazing.

This was my 3rd trip to have Anne-Claire as our courier and she was excellent. Each trip she quickly bonds with students. They love her and in the past, she has has remained in contact with some students - continuing to correspond with them. Her knowledge - especially in Paris and at Versailles is outstanding.

Anne-Claire is so knowledgable about Paris and great to incorporate as many things as possible and accommodate special requests.

Friedemann was very helpful, informative and knowledgable about the cities.

Michael and Julian went beyond the call of duty when we missed our connection. Everyone in our group was amazed at the efforts to make up for what we missed due to airline problems. You earned tremendous praise from the group that was able to stay an extra day to make up for the lost day. On a personal note, I was so happy to be able to meet Michael and Julian in person. In the end, it is all about relationships. That is what earns customer loyalty. They have certainly earned mine. Thank you!!

Easily the best Versailles tour I've ever had--the personal radio connection was great and Joelle was outstanding in her presentation of tons of facts.

Joelle was very knowledgable on French history and culture. She gave lots of good information without boring the students. It was nice that she stayed with the group at Versailles.

Once again I thought Sophie did an excellent job handling all the groups; which was not an easy task.

There is no monetary amount that could possibly repay Rose for all the effort and care she gave to my group. She was excellent in every way including her wonderful sense of humor.

This was an adventure for my group. Everyone enjoyed the couscous and the pastries. The owner of the restaurant was lots of fun. Rose provided escargots.

Kate is one of the finest couriers we have had. This was my second trip with her and I intend to request her for my 2014 trip. She was excellent in all areas. I felt confident that any issues that might arise would be handled promptly and in a professional manner. She was great at making suggestions and organizing free time. I heard one young traveler tell his parents at the airport that, 'Our courier, Kate, was THE MAN! and she isn't even a man.' High praise from a 16 year old boy.

Giuseppe was awesome. Students said he helped make the trip and I was glad that since we only had a few day couriers that the ones we had made such a positive impression. We wish we had him the whole trip!!

Robert was very professional and really helped maximize our time in London. He was waiting for us and had great options for the students.

Gregory was a very different courier as he was most interested in providing opportunities for individuals to enjoy the trip the way they, individually, saw fit. For our group, that was a perfect match.

Paola was FANTASTIC!!! She was not only extremely knowledgeable, but also very kind and patient. All members of our group felt comfortable with her and felt they each made a new friend in Europe. It was hard for all of us to say good-bye to her on the last day.

Vincent was a hit with everyone!! We all agreed that he was our favorite.

Our guide in Florence was Claudio. He also was excellent - no complaints.

Rachel is AMAZING!!!!!!!! The BEST courier we have ever had, and we really do not want to ever use anyone else. She works hard, is organized, and goes above and beyond. She truly cares about the students and wants to better their experience!

Colin was funny, witty, nice, informative, and quirky in a good way!

Raj was superb. He was insightful, extremely well organized, and protective of our group. Raj organized the tour so that we would avoid the hot part of the day and still get to see all that was planned. He guided us through restaurants, making sure that the food that we ordered would not be a problem. At the same time he organized impromptu events that greatly interested our group, immeasurably adding to the quality of the tour.

As an Indologist I have never received better care or organization of a tour in South Asia. Raj was responsive to all of our needs and went out of his way to be sure that we were satisfied. He helped us avoid obstacles that could have hindered our trip. I would not hesitate to recommend Raj not only as a tour director but as a key contact in India for organizing trips throughout the subcontinent. In many instances his employees were positioned in crowded situations to assist us and to make sure that in places where western tourists don't normally go, that we were well taken care of.

It was evident that before our arrival in India, Raj had worked through out itinerary, personally visiting those places on the tour that he was not familiar with. This enabled him to develop a plan that maximized what we would see and at the same time afforded us ample guidance and protection. For example, in Nathdwara he obtained the assistance of a priest to guide us through the crowded temple. As a result of his attention to detail, our group was able to see parts of the Shri Nathji temple that many Indians are not able to visit.

Everything was well organized. Rachel helped to make the most of the stay by rearranging visits so students would get the most out of a visit. For example we were scheduled to visit le Louvre on our first day and she realized we would all be too tired to enjoy it so she rescheduled it.

Claire was knowledgeable and offered many interesting tidbits for the students to ponder.

We just love Anne-Marie. Wish we could have had her for Day 1 as well, but we feel completely blessed to travel with her.

When Sophie works, she is always working. As soon as there is a problem, she is on the phone to resolve it. She also tries to help the bus park and other things like that. She made Mass at Notre Dame happen. She also organized wine tasting very fast as I thought it was included. She leaves me little to do except some minor decisions.

Our guide was intelligent and I was suspended to her lips.

Special praise to Dale, Vivi, and Sara, not to mention Kathy and Myriam who answer my questions when I call!

I was incredibly impressed with Sara. She went above and beyond to praise my students for their preparation which in turn praised me. I haven't felt that appreciated about being an educator in a long time. I would love to work with her again.

Sara's knowledge of multiple languages was essential. I was able to brush up on my German as well as use my French. I spoke French more on this trip than any other.

The students felt they gained a family member (Tatie Sara) in her. She provided posters with our daily agendas and truly appreciated my input when needed as to what we could do/change each time we needed to. I loved that! She was amazing!

Again, wonderful. I don't know where you find them, but they are fantastic!

Julian was great. He had an assistant that appeared the day of our bus tour, he also deserves great praise.

Laura was very available, Willliam was extremely knowledgable and understandable, Larry was very attentive.

Larry met individual needs, while attending to the whole very well.

Maggie was outstanding. Calm and collected, and carefully showed us the city of Edinburgh as well as the two castles. She was quite knowledgeable and was a wonderful guide. I hope we have her again for the next trip.

Rose was the best!

Alison was a special gift for my group. She maintained that delicate balance between head and heart. From the minute we met her at the airport, it became clear that she was a kindhearted, caring human being. We feel lucky to have gotten her. She made a wonderful impression on the students. They still speak of her fondly.

Andy was beyond excellent. His wealth of knowledge was presented in a way that endeared him to the students and impressed upon them the value of paying attention to details and the beauty of learning.

Virgie was wonderful and truly helpful. Our tour guide in Paris, Rose Ng, was angelic. I could sing her praises ALL day. It reflects that she has a passion for what she does, and I am truly thankful that she was our guide.

Clara was nice and accommodating.

Larry is outstanding. He goes above and beyond what is necessary. We were very disappointed when he had to leave us in Madrid. Next year we want Larry the entire time - 9 days. He is wonderful, and we couldn't think of traveling without him as our courier. Passports should make every effort to keep Larry. He is one of many reasons why we choose Passports.

Fabrizio was excellent. Gave us great information about Rome and brought us to the airport through check-in. Helped us with lost luggage and a passport left on the plane.

This was simply an amazing tour. I didn't think that Paris (2013) could be topped, but Passports and especially Matteo made that happen. I felt like I was a real part of the culture and not just another tourist.

Matteo was a knowledgeable tour guide. He was willing to go above and beyond his duties in order to ensure my students had a great time in his country. He was proactive in figuring out what to do with some of the gaps in the itinerary and was relaxed and capable in his planning around tired and sometimes unmotivated high school students.

I can’t imagine this trip without Pablo! He was amazing at his job. He is a pleasant, out-going person who never meets a stranger. He called ahead to make sure we were well-received. He took us to traditional places that made our experience more authentic, and it seemed he only chose places he knew so he could be sure of the quality. We returned Friday from a truly FABULOUS trip to Italy and Sicily! The company really out did itself! The hotels were of exceptional quality and meals were gourmet local cuisine. The local guides were extremely knowledgeable and personable. But it was our tour manager, Larry Alexander, who made this trip the best we have ever had.

Nikolas worked so hard for both groups. I think she really made the trip go smoothly! I can not say enough good/great things about how she was able to handle so many of us. She had so much responsibility--- but she made it seem effortless.

This was my best trip yet! I believe that the sites were well chosen. I think we will stay in smaller towns/cities like Salzburg and Luzern in the future. The kids were able to be "set free" (in small groups) to explore on their own, which may have been their favorite part. Myriam is a class act. She consistently went above and beyond the call of duty to help us and our students. We had one student who got sick and needed to go to a doctor, Myriam not only scheduled the appointment, but accompanied the student to help translate and ensure she got the medicine needed at the pharmacy. Myriam adapted our itinerary daily according to our needs, and put students' needs above her own. On the hottest day of the trip, we were on the walking chocolate tour. Temperatures were near 105 degrees, and Myriam ran students' water bottles back and forth, filling them so they could stay cool. Everyone adored her -- she is the best!

Tom did an excellent job! I highly recommend him for any trip. He was able to relate to students, chaperones and locals so well. He added a personal touch. On one particular bus ride, Tom was controlling the music. He picked songs that brought everyone's spirits up, and were just right for the students and chaperones. He is truly gifted at reading people. Tom's knowledge of history, culture and contemporary Spanish life were impressive, and truly added to our experience. Tom was a great asset to our group.

Friedemann accompanied us on our two German tours. He helped me connect with both my paternal and maternal families. At the same time, we were able to discuss the real nature of the USA and Germany - rather than just tourist talk.

Paola is just an amazing person. She knows what I want or need before I do. She's so knowledgeable, patient and professional. Besides all that, she treats me like a king, literally!

Tom is Mr. Spain. I love traveling with Tom because he shows us the "underbelly" of Spain. I have never eaten such good Spanish food before I started to travel with Tom. He's my "go to" guide for Spain.

Matthias was the best Tour Director I have had on any trip. Everyone in the group just loved him, and felt that he made the trip experience exceptional. He made the trip appear to be seamless, but of course that comes with a lot of work. He was very knowledgeable and we learned so much from him. Who he is as a person made a tremendous impact on every member of our group. He was engaging, personable, and we felt very safe with him. He did not take our group to cheap souvenir shops and waste our valuable time. He stayed with the group even when we had a city tour guide, in order to help and support us. He was kind, had great stories, and shared his own story when we asked him about his experience growing up behind the Berlin Wall in East Berlin. He had a great sense of humor, which we all enjoyed. Being 6'5" made it easy to always see him in a crowd!

Kate is truly a treasure. We are glad to know her. She takes care of our students as if she was a teacher in our school. Only better!

Larry was amazing. He went out of his way on many occasions to make our trip extremely enjoyable. Kris and Dale also deserve praise for being so wonderful to work with!

Matteo was an outstanding courier, maybe the best we've ever had on a Passports trip. We all found him to be professional, polite, personable, quick thinking, responsive to our needs and requests, knowledgeable, resourceful, and possessing a great sense of humor.

Without question, there were two key factors that made this trip work so well. The first was the excellent planning by Passports operations staff. Creating an itinerary that encompasses so many details is an extraordinary task, and you did it very well. The second equally important factor was our outstanding tour directors. A plan can be no better than the people who executie it. Matteo and Samuele are highly-skilled communicators and planners, able to improvise as needed to accommodate any situation or circumstance.

My group is so fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel with Matthias. He always goes above and beyond as tour director. One example is when he literally gave a traveler the shirt off his back! He arranged for those interested to go to a Baroque concert in Salzburg. One young man was able to join at the last minute, because Matthias gave up his ticket. But also, the traveler was wearing a t-shirt and shorts. Matthias gave him his button down shirt, and then wore the student's shirt the rest of the evening! We took a great picture of the two of them wearing their swapped clothing! Matthias's zest for life is infectious, and the travelers fed off that energy.

My experience home and abroad in dealing with Passports, and all of those associated with the company, was fabulous. I know I speak for our group when I say everything from the tours, to the hotels and food, was great. Everyone in our group had positive experiences and an excellent time in both London and Paris. I'm excited about the potential to organize another trip in the future!

Alison, our tour director, was perfect! She was so knowledgeable about the history, culture and travel arrangements of our group and our itinerary. I was extremely impressed by her kindness to our travelers and how accommodating she was to each person. Alison took time to get to know each member of our group, and tried to personalize our tour as much as possible in order to give each traveler the most valuable experience. I found Alison both professional and personable. She was punctual and represented Passports in an extremely positive manner. She was an excellent leader and I would be honored to have her lead any future groups that I am able to organize.

Giannis (Yiannis) was a perfect Courier for our group! He related wonderfully with everyone from our youngest (12 years old) to our oldest (86 years old).

He went out of his way to make sure our trip was rich with Greek culture, made all of our connections and accommodations seamlessly for us. He has a great sense of humor and related so well with the students. His passions for his work, his love of Greece and culture gave us all a love for the country and a desire to return. Yiannis also invited the group to write a poem to share about our experience in Greece. This ended up being a reflective and excellent activity for all. We became like family.

There is a reason I keep working with Passports, and that is the exceptionally high quality of personal service I get every time. Thank you to Michael for the organizing, and to Myriam for her outstanding work with our group.

Myriam: The best tour director I've ever had -- and I've had at least 7. Knowledgable, well-organized, personable, and truly went out of her way to see that everyone in our group received personal attention.

Frances is excellent at what she does: She communicates well, plans ahead, and makes sure all students make everlasting memories.

Eileen Farrell is a delightful person and an extraordinary tour director. In fact, many of the group (myself included) thought she was our best TD yet. We were immediately impressed with her personality, infectious smile and polite manners. A people person in the truest sense of the word. She is an excellent conversationalist and had knowledge on a wide range of subjects. The ages in our group of seven ranged from 21 to 66½ and our physical abilities and stamina ranged widely too. Accordingly, she was ever mindful of our individual needs and limitations and made every effort to accommodate us all. Eileen was punctual and always the first to arrive whenever we gathered as a group. She was well prepared and extremely knowledgeable about all facets of Ireland’s history, economy, customs and culture. She answered or got the answer to every question we asked and engaged with every group member (one on one) at various times on our trip. I thoroughly enjoyed her perspective on Ireland’s history and her explanations of Ireland’s relationship with England. Our excursion to Ashford Castle and Cong could not have been better. The weather was perfect and the scenery spectacular. The boat ride into the castle was quite memorable. The high tea was very special and something that we all thoroughly enjoyed. Everything looked immaculate: the room, the table, the serving dishes, the floor length food stands, the delicious tea sandwiches and the delicate, picture perfect pastries. The wait staff was properly attired for the occasion and their manners and service could not have been more cordial or helpful. In addition, the castle gardens were perfectly groomed, and the fountains, landscape and flowers were breathtaking. In the background, Eileen was routinely confirming our next restaurant reservation or coordinating our itinerary with our coach driver or giving us ideas about what we could do in our free time. She made it all look easy. Her commentary as we drove through Ireland was both interesting and entertaining. She is an avid gardener, and often identified the flowers and plants we were seeing. She always found a great place for us to have lunch. Maybe the best lunch we had was Smugglers Inn in Waterville, on our Ring of Kerry excursion. The food was outstanding and after we finished, she showed us the statue of Paine Stewart on the Waterville Golf Links. Eileen absolutely insisted that she pay for her own beverages and food, even though we offered to include her items with ours. Honesty was another of her outstanding traits. Eileen often told stories of her family and heritage to better illustrate Ireland's points of interest and landmarks. And in turn, we told stories about our families and life in America. When the trip ended, it was like leaving a family member behind. It was hard saying goodbye, but I hope that we'll meet again some day.

Sara was an exceptional guide. Just the right mix of information, humor, personal stories. The people LOVED her, including me. She was so organized and thought things through ahead of time. When you have a guide who knows what he/she is doing, it takes the pressure off of the group leader. I could relax knowing that we were in such capable hands. She went above and beyond the call of duty, even going back to a store in Lucerne (while were settling in for dinner) to get someone's Swiss army knives engraved, for example. My 76 year old who has been everywhere on many tours said she was the best guide he's ever had. There you have it.

Tara was the glue that made our visit to Puerto Rico run very smoothly. She went over and beyond, from purchasing extra snacks for the kids to braiding the girls' hair. Tara became one of us, which put us at ease and took the worry out of being in a foreign place. If she didn't know an answer, she has a knack for finding it out, and getting things done. It would have been a very different experience without her.

I don't think we could be happier. Kris Weinand was there from the start and walked me step by step through the sponsor/team lead process. She was the reason I got the academic approval as faculty from my college and the reason my team went. Georgina was truly inspirational! Not only did she solve the litany of problems thrown at us by traveling during a virus situation, she made the tour even better!!! Somehow, she got us access to an extra castle, knew the special details we all wanted to know, and anticipated everything we wanted before we even asked. I am so happy and these two are the reason why.

Passports was very helpful in making this trip work (especially since my group was very last minute in terms of commitment). I was impressed by the customer service and their willingness to work with us to make the trip happen.

I'm very pleased with all aspects of the trip planning and support. When in Italy, I found we had royal treatment as far as the hotels, meals, local guides, the flight. The two schools with which we traveled were very friendly, all got along well students as well as adults. It took half an hour for the groups to say goodbye at the airport. They're keeping in touch via e-mails and can't wait for the next trip. We all agreed that Paola is the best guide par excellence. The students adored her and listened to her.

Overall, our travel experience was excellent. Everyone was very pleased with this itinerary. Thank you very much for all the planning and adjustments that were made to accomodate our group with the other groups.

It was a pleasure working with the Passports staff. Anytime I called the Spencer office, I was greeted by a staff member with a very friendly tone. Dale would help answer my questions even when the customer service office was technically closed.

Kudos to Passports for scrambling to arrange our trip to Ecuador on the spur of the moment due to the State Department travelers' warning about traveling in the Machu Picchu area. Kris and Dale saved the day. The trip to Ecuador was fantastic. The guide/courier may be the best we had on 6 Passports trips we've taken so far. The food was also excellent at every stop.

I sometimes felt out of touch, but in the end it was because there was nothing for me to do, Passports was taking care of everything!

I started out with nothing but the desire to give my students the experience of a lifetime. I had no idea how to go about it; plus I found the entire prospect daunting. Enter Kathy Bernard. She held my hand when the terrain felt rough; and she turned on enough light when dusk encroached and threatened to put a damper on my enthusiasm. Overall travel experience was great. The trip was exceptionally organized as all Passports trips have been. Kathy was great to accommodate all special requests before departure to fill 'free' time or include special things. We experienced no unnecessary waiting or waste of time at any hotel, restaurant, tourist attraction, etc. which is exceptional with a group this large that attended so many places. I especially appreciated our group having our own bus and courier. That made this trip SO much more enjoyable. Anne-Claire was great as always.

The food at the Gresham and the Europa hotel in Belfast was delicious, the city tour and trip to Belfast with Irwin was delightful, the Musical Pub Crawl was so much fun and the last night at the distillery was the highlight of it all.

This trip delivered exactly what Passports said it would. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. There was no part of it that was disappointing, and we felt like we got every bit of our money's worth. We were exposed to a variety of Costa Rica's climate and activities. There was a nice balance of community service and tourist activities. The homestay made the trip very authentic and allowed my students opportunity to use their Spanish. This was my best trip yet! I believe that the sites were well chosen. I think we will stay in smaller towns/cities like Salzburg and Luzern in the future. The kids were able to be "set free" (in small groups) to explore on their own, which may have been their favorite part. Myriam is a class act. She consistently went above and beyond the call of duty to help us and our students. We had one student who got sick and needed to go to a doctor, Myriam not only scheduled the appointment, but accompanied the student to help translate and ensure she got the medicine needed at the pharmacy. Myriam adapted our itinerary daily according to our needs, and put students' needs above her own. On the hottest day of the trip, we were on the walking chocolate tour. Temperatures were near 105 degrees, and Myriam ran students' water bottles back and forth, filling them so they could stay cool. Everyone adored her -- she is the best!

Matthias was the best Tour Director I have had on any trip. Everyone in the group just loved him, and felt that he made the trip experience exceptional. He made the trip appear to be seamless, but of course that comes with a lot of work. He was very knowledgeable and we learned so much from him. Who he is as a person made a tremendous impact on every member of our group. He was engaging, personable, and we felt very safe with him. He did not take our group to cheap souvenir shops and waste our valuable time. He stayed with the group even when we had a city tour guide, in order to help and support us. He was kind, had great stories, and shared his own story when we asked him about his experience growing up behind the Berlin Wall in East Berlin. He had a great sense of humor, which we all enjoyed. Being 6'5" made it easy to always see him in a crowd!

Kate is truly a treasure. We are glad to know her. She takes care of our students as if she was a teacher in our school. Only better!

Larry was amazing. He went out of his way on many occasions to make our trip extremely enjoyable. Kris and Dale also deserve praise for being so wonderful to work with!

Hotel Lancelot Rome: BEST HOTEL!!! I have ever stayed in while with students in Rome!!! Rooms clean, facility safe, staff went out of their way for us. This is an "OMG" hotel!!! The staff were so awesome and so kind. They went out of their way to provide a nice breakfast on departure day. I have never met a nicer, more attentive staff in Rome... where did you find these people? Clone them!

Frances was never grumpy, never lost patience (and she had a million reasons to!). I was constantly amazed by her great attitude, ability to make us laugh, remember what everyone needed, and ease at including everyone. She was, in a word: amazing!

Matteo was an outstanding courier, maybe the best we've ever had on a Passports trip. We all found him to be professional, polite, personable, quick thinking, responsive to our needs and requests, knowledgeable, resourceful, and possessing a great sense of humor.

Without question, there were two key factors that made this trip work so well. The first was the excellent planning by Passports operations staff. Creating an itinerary that encompasses so many details is an extraordinary task, and you did it very well. The second equally important factor was our outstanding tour directors. A plan can be no better than the people who executie it. Matteo and Samuele are highly-skilled communicators and planners, able to improvise as needed to accommodate any situation or circumstance.

Alison, our tour director, was perfect! She was so knowledgeable about the history, culture and travel arrangements of our group and our itinerary. Alison took time to get to know each member of our group, and tried to personalize our tour as much as possible in order to give each traveler the most valuable experience. I found Alison both professional and personable. She was punctual and represented Passports in an extremely positive manner. Our school had a long history (over 20 years) with another tour company. Unfortunately, their customer service had been lacking the last couple years, so we made a switch. The customer service and attention I received from Tara at Passports was amazing! I am so happy with how readily she responded and answered all of my questions.

Giannis (Yiannis) was a perfect Courier for our group! He related wonderfully with everyone from our youngest (12 years old) to our oldest (86 years old). He went out of his way to make sure our trip was rich with Greek culture, made all of our connections and accommodations seamlessly for us. He has a great sense of humor and related so well with the students. His passions for his work, his love of Greece and culture gave us all a love for the country and a desire to return. Yiannis also invited the group to write a poem to share about our experience in Greece. This ended up being a reflective and excellent activity for all. We became like family.

Passports is a quality organization, and I will always recommend you. Dale is a hoot, and we know her work ethic. Shawn, is kind and pays attention to details. Julian also needs a pat on the back. The Mercure remains a consistent, quality hotel and their front desk staff needs to know as much. They work hard to please groups. Eileen Farrell is a delightful person and an extraordinary tour director. In fact, many of the group (myself included) thought she was our best TD yet. We were immediately impressed with her personality, infectious smile and polite manners. A people person in the truest sense of the word. She is an excellent conversationalist and had knowledge on a wide range of subjects. The ages in our group of seven ranged from 21 to 66½ and our physical abilities and stamina ranged widely too. Accordingly, she was ever mindful of our individual needs and limitations and made every effort to accommodate us all. Eileen was punctual and always the first to arrive whenever we gathered as a group. She was well prepared and extremely knowledgeable about all facets of Ireland’s history, economy, customs and culture. She answered or got the answer to every question we asked and engaged with every group member (one on one) at various times on our trip. I thoroughly enjoyed her perspective on Ireland’s history and her explanations of Ireland’s relationship with England. Our excursion to Ashford Castle and Cong could not have been better. The weather was perfect and the scenery spectacular. The boat ride into the castle was quite memorable. The high tea was very special and something that we all thoroughly enjoyed. Everything looked immaculate: the room, the table, the serving dishes, the floor length food stands, the delicious tea sandwiches and the delicate, picture perfect pastries. The wait staff was properly attired for the occasion and their manners and service could not have been more cordial or helpful. In addition, the castle gardens were perfectly groomed, and the fountains, landscape and flowers were breathtaking. In the background, Eileen was routinely confirming our next restaurant reservation or coordinating our itinerary with our coach driver or giving us ideas about what we could do in our free time. She made it all look easy. Her commentary as we drove through Ireland was both interesting and entertaining. She is an avid gardener, and often identified the flowers and plants we were seeing. She always found a great place for us to have lunch. Maybe the best lunch we had was Smugglers Inn in Waterville, on our Ring of Kerry excursion. The food was outstanding and after we finished, she showed us the statue of Paine Stewart on the Waterville Golf Links. Eileen absolutely insisted that she pay for her own beverages and food, even though we offered to include her items with ours. Honesty was another of her outstanding traits. Eileen often told stories of her family and heritage to better illustrate Ireland's points of interest and landmarks. And in turn, we told stories about our families and life in America. When the trip ended, it was like leaving a family member behind. It was hard saying goodbye, but I hope that we'll meet again someday.

Everyone in our group thoroughly loved our Ireland vacation. The PASSPORTS team really made our trip look easy and effortless, and I know that is an illusion. There are hundreds (maybe thousands) of details that must all be coordinated and aligned perfectly to bring our itinerary to fruition. Shawn was so accommodating and helpful with my requests, questions and concerns. He always had a prompt response for me. He knew that I had a group of (some older!) adults and made sure the trip was tailored to meet their needs.

Sara was an exceptional guide. Just the right mix of information, humor, personal stories. The people LOVED her, including me. She was so organized and thought things through

ahead of time. When you have a guide who knows what he/she is doing, it takes the pressure off of the group leader. I could relax knowing that we were in such capable hands. She went above and beyond the call of duty, even going back to a store in Lucerne (while were settling in for dinner) to get someone's Swiss army knives engraved, for example. My 76 year old who has been everywhere on many tours said she was the best guide he's ever had. There you have it.

Tara was the glue that made our visit to Puerto Rico run very smoothly. She went over and beyond, from purchasing extra snacks for the kids to braiding the girls' hair. Tara became one of us, which put us at ease and took the worry out of being in a foreign place. If she didn't know an answer, she has a knack for finding it out, and getting things done. It would have been a very different experience without her.

Communication was excellent. Everyone addressed all concerns throughout the planning phase. Our special needs travelers were really well taken care of. Overall Experience

'Waterways and Mountaintops' is a tour full of delightful surprises. It was eminently well prepared by Shawn and Dale, to the last detail. All my questions and wishes were answered. Especially the visit to the Louvre-Lens, this modern new museum in Northern France, housing an amazing collection of artifacts, across 2000 years and a Rubens' exhibit. Thank you for permitting us to stop there. Myriam was a wonderful courier whose humor, energy, keen eye and organization helped us on a daily basis. She was an absolutely indispensable person. Belgium France and Switzerland in 8 days. What an adventure! One thousand 'merci beaucoups' to Passports, Shawn, Dale and Myriam: your organization is tops! Great hotels, superb food including specialties. We will never forget the variety of Belgian medieval architecture and the canals of Bruges, the chateau de Versailles and its gardens, the Alps and paddle-boating on Lake Geneva. 'Vive l'aventure!' 'vive Passports!'

I'm very pleased with all aspects of the trip planning and support. When in Italy, I found we had royal treatment as far as the hotels, meals, local guides, the flight. The two schools with which we traveled were very friendly, all got along well students as well as adults. It took half an hour for the groups to say goodbye at the airport. They're keeping in touch via e-mails and can't wait for the next trip. We all agreed that Paola is the best guide par excellence. The students adored her and listened to her.

Overall, our travel experience was excellent. Everyone was very pleased with this itinerary. Thank you very much for all the planning and adjustments that were made to accomodate our group with the other groups.

Kudos to Passports for scrambling to arrange our trip to Ecuador on the spur of the moment due to the State Department travelers' warning about traveling in the Machu Picchu area. Kris and Dale saved the day. The trip to Ecuador was fantastic. The guide/courier may be the best we had on 6 Passports trips we've taken so far. The food was also excellent at every stop.

We loved the Abba Queen Gate hotel, both for its location and the amenities. The trip was really flawless. Everything ran smoothly; we had a perfect balance of sightseeing and free time. We were very pleased with our tour. In particular, our tour guide, Vivi, went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could possibly be. No task was too much of a challenge. She was able to provide two birthday cakes in order for us to celebrate student birthdays! Plus, an additional side-trip to allow us to experience churros.

The overall experience was outstanding. My students had a great time and learned a great deal as well. This was my first time traveling to Europe with a large group of students and I would recommend Passports to anyone looking for student travel.

This was a wonderful trip and much of that was due to the courier. This travel experience was excellent. There was support at all levels from planning to the actual trip. I have used other travel companies and Passports is among the best. Hotels and restaurant selections were very good. I had students who did not want to come home at the end of the trip! Some are already expressing a desire to go back on my next trip in 2015 and we have only been back in the USA for 17 hours!! That says a lot!

Throughout this trip everything was done according to plan and on schedule. We were always involved in doing something very enjoyable and exciting... no down time which was very much appreciated. The beach the last two days was lovely and perfect for relaxing after a busy tour agenda. The students went horseback riding or shopping in Jacó the day before our departure for home.

Everything ran smoothly and the staff was extremely helpful with our late traveler. I can't say enough about the staff - this is why we continue to travel with Passports.

The trip was so fabulous for so many reasons... the obvious ones, of course, being sun and warmth, but it was such a treat to experience what the students do when traveling on a student trip. I had forgotten how exceptionally exciting it is to see and to experience something new. This experience will stay with me for a very long time, and I can easily foresee returning to Puerto Rico.

I wanted to say thank you to you and all the staff at Passports for making our time in Ireland simply amazing. We enjoyed every second there. The hotel was wonderfully situated (as they are on the trips with my students) and so comfortable. The food at the Gresham and the Europa hotel in Belfast was delicious, the city tour and trip to Belfast with Irwin was delightful, the Musical Pub Crawl was so much fun and the last night at the distillery was the highlight of it all.

We were so blessed to have the opportunity to travel with this company! While we were there, we noticed 'EF' was an additional traveling group and they seemed extremely chaotic. It was great to have the personable tour guide, driver and atmospheres that allowed us to fully enjoy the experience.

Wonderful. All went together so well. It was great to just work on guiding our group through the two cities and to have support and help for the main activity and the dinner every day. The trip via the AVE to Barcelona was a great way to travel. Comfortable and fast. The hotels were great, the dinners nice and the guide who was with us was above average.

I work at a school where they have used EF tours for years. I have to go a long with these at times - but I will NEVER use them! There is no comparison with Passports! Passports costs a little more, but Passports handles all tipping (except the courier and the long distance drivers) where EF has the groups do all the tipping. This saved us about $100 per person offsetting some of the additional cost. But the hotels and the meals make the additional money well worth it.

My group was absolutely thrilled with their trip, as was I. All the work Passports did to make this trip a success really came through.

Sophie was amazing as our courier. She gets to know every single person by name (39 people!) and explains well what we are doing, where we are going, how long it will take, etc. The work that all the behind-the-scenes people do is amazing. I can’t imagine this trip without Pablo! He was amazing at his job. He is a pleasant, out-going person who never meets a stranger. He called ahead to make sure we were well-received. He took us to traditional places that made our experience more authentic, and it seemed he only chose places he knew so he could be sure of the quality. This trip delivered exactly what Passports said it would. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. There was no part of it that was disappointing, and we felt like we got every bit of our money's worth. We were exposed to a variety of Costa Rica's climate and activities. There was a nice balance of community service and tourist activities. The homestay made the trip very authentic and allowed my students opportunity to use their Spanish. This was my best trip yet! I believe that the sites were well chosen. I think we will stay in smaller towns/cities like Salzburg and Luzern in the future. The kids were able to be "set free" (in small groups) to explore on their own, which may have been their favorite part. Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse is a beautiful hotel. Especially love the rooftop terrace view of the Eiffel Tower. Like staying in this part of Paris. Students love the crepe vendor just down the street -- the man that makes crepes there said he even remembered my son and I from our previous trip and stay at this lovely hotel.

Myriam is a class act. She consistently went above and beyond the call of duty to help us and our students. We had one student who got sick and needed to go to a doctor, Myriam not only scheduled the appointment, but accompanied the student to help translate and ensure she got the medicine needed at the pharmacy. Myriam adapted our itinerary daily according to our needs, and put students' needs above her own. On the hottest day of the trip, we were on the walking chocolate tour. Temperatures were near 105 degrees, and Myriam ran students' water bottles back and forth, filling them so they could stay cool. Everyone adored her -- she is the best!
