When You Call Passports, You Never Get a Machine

Real people. On duty. 24/7. Well, ok not exactly. But you definitely will NOT get a machine or be outsourced! That’s because passports employees take turns being “on-call” during overnight hours. If a travel emergency happens during your trip and you need to reach our headquarters in Massachusetts, you can do so just by dialing our regular toll-free number (if you’re still in the United States, that is!) 1-800-332-7277.  If you’re already overseas and have a travel emergency your tour manager or one of our overseas offices should always be able to assist you.  If in doubt, just call our non-toll-free number: (508) 885-4600. In either case, our professional answering service will answer the call, determine (with the caller’s help) if the situation is a “travel emergency” or “family emergency”, and will connect you with the passports employee who is on call. It’s that easy to have peace of mind.

JUST IN CASE

In addition, our overseas staff are ALSO on-call 24/7, so you’re covered no matter what the time zone! This is just ONE difference between passports and its competitors. If you’re lucky, you might get a machine or a special phone number if you’re traveling with another company. We don’t know their policies, but we’re pretty sure we are the only educational travel company that doesn’t outsource its after-hours calls to a call center of strangers. And we know for a fact that we’re the only company that’s open on evenings and weekends, year-round.

PEACE OF MIND

If you need help from passports, you get passports! Plain and simple. Hopefully, you’ll never need to use this feature of our many personalized services, but if you do, you’ll have the peace of mind of knowing that your call will be answered, by a person, who is employed by passports. What could be sweeter?
